Building a Social Network Profile Page for Your Pet

The Internet just keeps innovating itself. Twenty years ago, nobody could have ever imagined that we can all be "mini-celebrities" on the Web one day. With the advent of social networking sites, anyone can have their own profile page in the cyberworld and reach out to a worldwide audience with just a click of a button. Now, it seems that our pets have joined in on this sweeping trend too. Pet social networking sites have mushroomed just about everywhere on the Web, and if your precious little furry, finned, or winged companion does not have a profile page yet, do not be left behind and start creating an account now!

First, you must look around several pet social networking sites. Get the "feel" of each website. Check out the features and take a look at the kind of members that it attracts. Once you find a site that you feel comfortable with, start building a profile! If you want your pet to attract several online buddies, post the most interesting information about them. It could be their cute little quirks - like maybe your dog actually enjoys listening to rock music but barks in disapproval whenever you start playing your 1980s pop collection.

Of course, their profile picture is of utmost importance. It should be something that can make other online viewers go "awww". Have a photo shoot with your pet and take pictures of them with your digital or Web camera until you feel you have captured the perfect shot. After you have finished making a profile page, it is now time to connect with other pets and add online friends!
